Enabling File Save and Email destination on new install of Crystal Server 2008

Problem Description : 

After a new install of Crystal Server 2008 steps must be taken to enable the File System and Email options. If not enabled, scheduled jobs will fail with error of DLL not enabled.

 Resolution : 

Must enable the dll in 2 places - on the program job server AND the crystal reports job server. 

1. Log into the CMC (central management console) 

2. Select Servers 

3. click SERVER.ProgramJobServer 

4. select the destination

5. select the destination required (File System or Email) and click Add

6. edit setup for the destination 

7. click Save

8. repeat this process for the SERVER.CrystalReportsJobServer 

9. when complete, you must restart both servers

Configuration for File System:

Enter a "." (dot) in the directory

Configuration for Email:

Domain Name - gdn.edu

Host - condor.gdn.edu (or current SMTP server)

Port - 25

Authentication - None

From - and CSD email

Subject - Add placeholder... of Title
