Describes the process of Deposit Refunds
Resolution :
The student should request their deposit refund through Banner Web under Housing Non-Returning Students. The student is only allowed to fill out the form if they have a current deposit on file and they do not have a future application or room assignment.
Once their request is submitted a row is inserted in the wdrdepr table.
Housing has an Admin portal where they can view and make a decision on each request.
Once a decision is made and housing submits the decision on the form. The students record on the wdrdepr table is updated with decision, decision date, and reason.
The Business Office receives 2 reports every Tuesday, 1 with deposits pending refunds that have been approved by housing and another that were denied by housing and are Deposits Pending Forfeiture. The students names will drop off of the report when the deposit is no longer in TSADETL.
