Rename a Student's Account

 Resolution : 

How to Change a Students username.

Log in to Banner INB.  Go to SPAIDEN and verify that the registrar’s office has changed the name in Banner.  The student must have it changed at the registrar’s office first.

Go to VMWARE – MBOX1

Click on the Rename Account Icon on desktop  

Enter in if the rename is a Faculty, Staff or Student

Enter old Username – Enter New Username

Go to Banner INB – SPAIDEN and change email on email tab – save

Go to GOATPAD and change the 3rd party ID.

Go to Brightspace D2l and change the email address – username and Last name

Must also change username in Office 365 through powershell. Instructions found in best solution #325.
