If you are having issues installing just the AV part of LANDesk try uninstalling it on the client first. To do so in a command prompt (cmd) run the following (may need to run cmd as administrator)...
For 32bit
"c:\Program Files\LANDesk\LDClient\vulcan.exe" /RemoveAV /ShowUI
For 64bit
"c:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk\LDClient\vulcan.exe" /RemoveAV /ShowUI
Close the LANDesk Security and Compliance Manager after it has finished - reboot the client
Then login again and in a command prompt run the following command to reinstall LANDesk...
For 32bit
"c:\Program Files\LANDesk\LDClient\vulcan.exe" /InstallAV /ShowUI
For 64bit
"c:\Program Files (x86)\LANDesk\LDClient\vulcan.exe" /InstallAV /ShowUI
Close the LANDesk Security and Compliance Manager after it has finished - reboot the client
If you are still having issues with AV try using the Kaspersky Labs Product Remover tool. After removal try reinstalling using the cmd commands described above or schedule a push in LANDesk Console.
Double-click on W:\New Machine Setups\LANDesk\kavremover.exe to run removal tool. Enter 8 character code and make sure Kaspersky Endpoint Security 10 for Windows is selected in the drop-down list. Click Remove. Reboot when finished.
To manually uninstall the LANDesk Agent go to \\ldmsgsc\ldmain. Run UninstallWinClient.exe. It can be run from that share or copied to the local client and executed. To see the progress of the uninstall copy uninstallwinclient.exe to the c:\ drive of the PC you are removing the agent from. Open a cmd prompt (run as administrator). Go to C:\ root by typing cd\. Then type UninstallWinClient.exe /UI /REBOOT and Enter to run.
Force Settings Update - In Search box type: vulscan /changesettings /showui
When using scheduler in Landesk and pushing to a PC look for wscfg32.exe*32 under processes to see if it is running on PC.
Can manually install AV for testing by going to \\ldmsgsc\ldlogon\avclient\install\setup and run Kes10win.msi.
