How to Set up R25 on Client PC

Problem Description : 

Install R25 client on PC from network share

 Resolution : 

For each client PC that will be running R25, log on and do the following:

1) User must be added to r25user group in AD

2) Make sure the Path is set to P:\Oracle\instantclient_11_2;

3) UNC path to \\r25server2008\R25v34\prod

4) Update the local Windows control files and R25 control file registration by running the controls.exe program from the system folder

5) Create the local Program Files shortcut group from which you can launch R25 by running this program: r25menu.exe. (With Windows 7 machines you may need to run the program as an administrator)

6) Your done! Now test
