Running XTerm on PC

 Problem Description : 

Starting XTerm and XWindows on a PC using CYGWIN

 Resolution : 

Starting XTERM from local machine

From the PC

1. Run All Programs->XMing->XLaunch

2. click Next 3 times to get to "Additional parameters" dialog

3. Click check box No Access Control

4. Keep clicking Next and the Finish 

Unix Box

1. Login with the user you want to use

2. export DISPLAY=Ip_of_above_PC:0.0 (ex. export DISPLAY=168.26.241.95:0.0)

3. Run Xwindows program (ex. /usr/bin/X11/xterm)
