Access CommVault Simpana console

 Problem Description : 

Steps for accessing the CommVault Simpana console

 Resolution : 

1 - Open Internet Explorer

2 - Go to URL http://bessie.gdn.peachnet.edu/console

3 - You will be presented with yellow alert bar across top of page. Clicking on bar will prompt you download a file which will launch a Java application. Note: It will prompt for this every time the console is launched.

4 - Connect to CommCell (name of the Simpana server cluster) will prompt for:

--- User Name: Enter as gordon.nt\username (use your AD username)

--- Password: Enter AD password

-- CommCell: Enter bessie (the CommVault server, the drop down will be empty) 

You will then be directed to the CommCell Console
