Download Application using Hosted Axiom PC

Problem Description :

Downloading applications from Xap to Axiom.

Resolution :

1.From your PC

a.log into GaFutures/XAP to download applications

b.Save xml file on your PC

c.Print applications

d.Log into MFT at files.usg.edu

i.Click on “folders” on left

ii.Go to Managed Services ? Gordon ? Banner ? B760 ? userdata ? local

iii.Scroll to the bottom of page and click Launch the Upload Wizard

iv.Browse to find the XML file you downloaded to your PC and click upload

1.Make sure the upload was successful

2.Log into the remote Axiom PC – Remote Desktop Connection – AXM760P.USO.BOR.USG.EDU

a.Log in using your MFT (USO) user account and password

b.Log on to the MFT website files.usg.edu

i.Click on “folders” on left

ii.Go to Managed Services ? Gordon ? Banner ? B760 ? userdata ? local

iii.Click on the xml file you upload and click save and save to C:\silos\gordon\gordon_axiom\applications

c.Log into Axiom. Make sure the source code is GordonState for applications.

i.Load your applications as normal.
