Problem Description : 

When attempting to preview a file in Microsoft Word 2010 in the open window, the text "This file cannot be previewed because of an error in the Microsoft Word previewer" appears in the preview pane.

 

 

 Resolution : 

 

Microsoft knows this is an issue and has no fix at this time. However, there are two workarounds.
