Learning Support and Core Cir Instructions

Problem Description :

 Resolution :

To run the Learning Support/Core Cir. Process for Janet

If Janet asks you to run the script - she means the gasis_permissions.

Log into Dino as banmgr. go to /gdn00/scripts

type in sqlplus at the $

you will be prompted to log in - Baninst1 and password.

at the sql prompt type in @/gdn00/scripts/gasis_permissions

This will run the script that she needs.

At the end of the process she should call and ask for you to run the fix process. You do the very same thing but run the /gdn00/scripts/gasis_permission_fix.sql

process.

Replace step 2's instructions in the EAS email below with these instructions. Give me a call if you have any questions.

1. You will get an email from OIIT announcing that the Core Curriculum/Learning Support data collection is open for submission. It will tell you the reporting terms. Once you have the reporting terms you will complete the following steps.

2. Ask Computer Services to run the /gdn00/scripts/gasis_permissions.sql (This is only temporary)

3. login into dino and go to the GUAHOST prompt

4. type cd /gdn01/prodhome/links

5. type sh gasis.shl (This will give you a SQL> prompt)

6. type sh gasis1.shl at the SQL> prompt you should see the following.

$ sh gasis.shl
