Loading Staff Files into VISTA/WEBct

Problem Description :

Steps 1 and 2 are to be done the first time this is run. From that point on they do not have to be done again.

Resolution :

1. Enter into GLAEXTR the Staff that you want to add (Creates a manual popsel). I call the popsel VISTA_POP like the others.

2. You need to make sure they all have a userid in GOATPAD. This creates the IMS ID that is needed too.

3. Run GURIROL with the rule from GORRSQL that you have created for STAFF.

4. Use the GORRSQL rule and the popsel to drive ZSRLDIS with the following parameters:

1 Application ID:.......................... STUDENT 2 Selection ID:............................Your manual Popsel name (VISTA_POP)

3 Creator ID:..............................your useried if you are the creator

4 User ID:.................................your userid

5 Term:....................................200805 (term does not matter but needs to be included)

6 Extract Colleges:........................N

7 Extract Institution Departments:.........N

8 Extract Courses:.........................N

9 Extract Sections:........................N

10 Extract Cross Lists:.....................N

11 Extract Persons with LogonID:............Y

12 Extract Persons:.........................STAFF (use rule from GORRSQL here)

13 Extract Faculty Assignments:.............N

14 Extract Faculty / Employee Departments:..N

15 Extract Student Enrollments:.............N

16 Partner Code:............................Not Required

17 Extract Deletable Enrollments:...........N

18 Institution VPD Code:....................Not Required

19 Recstatus Change Indicator............1

20 Date of Last Run................Not required for person records only

ftp file to your computer and place on the FTU site like you would the other files. OIIT will contact you when they receive it.
