Office install from Office365 stuck verifiying package on a Macbook

Problem Description : 

Installing Office on a Mac via Office365 portal is hung on "verifying package"

 Resolution : 

/System/Library/CoreServices/Installer.app

For installer:

1. Open the Finder

2. Navigate to Go menu

3. Select the Go to Folder submenu

4. Copy the file path above into it.

5. Press Enter

6. Locate the .dmg or .mpkg package.
