Setup Mac Authentication on Extreme switch for Clearpass

Extreme Commands for Wired Mac Authentication through Clearpass

 Resolution : 

Type the following commands from a Extreme CLI....

1. create vlan netlogin_vlan

2. configure netlogin vlan netlogin_vlan

3. enable netlogin mac

4. configure netlogin mac authentication database-order radius

5. configure netlogin add mac default

6. enable netlogin ports <<port list>> mac

7. configure netlogin ports <<port list>> mode port-based-vlans

8. configure radius netlogin primary server 168.26.240.14 client-ip <<Default IP Address of Switch>> vr "VR-Default" 

9. configure radius netlogin primary shared-secret xxxxxx 

10. enable radius netlogin

* DO NOT INCLUDE UPLINK (TAGGED) PORTS in STEPS 6 and 7.

* STEP 9 use standard network password for shared-secret
