Add device to SMTP relay

Problem Description : 

If you need to add emailing functionality to a device on campus you can use our SMTP reply setup on Cipher1

To Add a device to our SMTP relay

1. Log into CIPHER1

2. Open 'Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 Manager'

3. Expand the tree and right-click on [SMTP Virtual Server #1] and open Properties

4. Click on the Access tab

5. Click on the 'Connection...' button

6. Add the IP address of the device and click OK

7. On the Access tab again, click on the 'Relay...' button and add the same IP address you entered for the Connection restrictions, hit OK.

8. Press 'Apply' on the Access tab and OK.

The SMTP relay should now accept forwarding from the device you entered the IP address for.
