Financial Aid link not showing in Banner Web

 Problem Description : 

When a student logs into Banner Web, they do not receive the Financial Aid link

 Resolution : 

We have had several students report they do not have a financial aid link in Banner Web. After working with a student yesterday, I figured out what was happening. 

The financial aid link is found on the Main Menu in Banner web. When they log into banner web, they are prompted to enter their ethnicity. They will receive this screen until they submit their answer. If they enter this information and click continue or click ask me later, it will take them to the Main Menu. What they are doing instead is clicking on the Student Services menu which is a tab across the top. This takes them to the Student Services Menu instead of the Main Menu. 

If you have a student who says they do not see the Financial aid menu, please have them do one of the following.

1. Answer the ethnicity question and click continue.

2.Click the Ask me later button.

3.Click return to main menu link that is in the upper right corner.
