How to Create a new Document Type in BDMS

 Problem Description : 

Creating a new document type in BDMS

 Resolution : 

Log into the BDMS Server

Go to Applications and then B-S-Admin(choose correct app)

Double click on fields - a window will open on the right

Double Click on Document type (in lower window application field order) until the User Defined List is highlighted and you are able to click on it.

Click on User Defined List and add item - click ok

Click out of the BS Admin on another application and it will ask you to save.

If you need to add security for other groups to see you can go to Document Level Security - Choose the group and then make the form accessible for them if need.
