How to submit a ZSRD2LX File for D2L

How to create and submit the D2L ZSRD2LX File

1.. In Banner INB go to GJAPCTL and run the ZSRD2LX Process. Make note of the process number at bottom task bar. 

The Only Thing that should ever change here are the TERM. Set Student Enrollments parameter to N if you just want to load classes and instructors without loading students. Set it to Yes if you want to load students Set to A to add student and classes..

I normally do not load a student file until about a week before classes begin. Students can not see their classes until the day that the class begins. I load faculty and courses as soon as the courses are built for a semester so that faculty can begin building their contenet.

2. Now Go to WSFTP and move all 12 files created by this process files to your PC. Choose the last .xml file that you ran from /gdn01/banproc. Be sure to click the ASCI Radial before transferring. Once the files are on your c drive ZIP the files together. Rename the zip file to this naming convention gc_zsrd2lx_BANNER ID #_Semester_Year EX> gsc_zsrd3lx_123456_fall_2010

Note: Search for process number in WSFTP (ex. *2220009*) to get all the files you need. Should have log and lis file and the User, Template, Section, Offering, and Membership XML and .alldone file (12 total).
