MS Endpoint Protection - manual update signatures

Command to manually update the Microsoft Endpoint Protection definitions

 Resolution : 

MS Updates are configured to update the definitions daily. There are two methods that can be used to force a manual update if needed.

GUI:

Open the System Center 2012 Endpoint Protection application window, click on Update Tab and click on Update button

Command/Batch:

In the 'c:\windows\microsoft security client' folder, run the command mpcmdrun with option of -signatureupdates. If there is no update available, result will state none available.
